I just wanted to let you know that I had been thru three different contractors before you were brought on board our project. You stepped right in and fought our insurance company on my behalf for more money to do all the work on my home and office. Your staff did such a wonderful job in fighting for me. I don’t know what I would have done without your help with the repairs and the insurance company. Thanks to you and your staff we made it thru all the hurricane Ike repairs on time and budget.

This letter is written to inform anyone considering the hiring of Kevin Scribner Construction.  We moved here to Punta Gorda, Florida in July of 2004 just three weeks before Hurricane Charley struck. Charley came through here like a eight mile wide tornado with winds in excess of 200 MPH and left every single structure with moderate to catastrophic damage. Our house was no exception.  Having owned three construction companies on Cape Cod, I was no stranger to building and remodeling, but was no longer physically capable of doing the work myself. In Florida, however, I found out there are many unscrupulous contractors who are very smooth at selling but disappear after the initial check is written, or who do sub-par work and never return. I have seen unbelievable horror stories here after Charley.  One of the luckiest days of my life was when Kevin showed up to give us a bid for the necessary extensive repairs to our just purchased "dream home". Not only was he on time and professional in demeanor, but so were his workmen. Their work was so good that I never found it necessary to "oversee" them. They always finished on-time, and there were never any surprises with the final bill.  What Kevin or his representatives say he is going to do, he does. If there is a problem acquiring materials he tells you. In my case there were no such problems, and after I gave him many referrals, the people I sent to him invariably thanked me for doing so. We are now all in a unique club of happy homeowners. Around here, that is a pretty exclusive club.  There is no one I know of in this area who would not immediately call Kevin Scribner Construction again should the need arise.
